OUR PROUD HISTORY
Murray Mallee Aged Care Group Inc. (MMACG) was formed in 1994 after a group of community members recognised that there was a desperate need for specialised in-home services for ageing people in the rural and remote regions of the Murray Mallee area. From this group of members, an autonomous, non-government, not for profit organisation began.
Until 2005 offices were located at the Murray Lands Retirement Village. Today our Administration office is located at 2a Myall Avenue, Murray Bridge, providing a modern, accessible 'open door' environment. There is also a fully equipped separate Meeting/Training Centre that is available for community use. In October 2017 we opened our Adelaide Department.
In 2019 MMACG opened its first retirement living community, Warner Close. more information on Warner Close can be found by clicking here.
Our vision is towards a bright future expanding our quality services to include increased Home Care Packages, Social Day Activity Programs and Seniors Educational Programs for older people in metropolitan Adelaide, rural and remote areas of the Murray Mallee and Riverland districts.
